Pretty Impressed
I'm really pretty impressed with this stick. I bought it thinking that it would be cheaply made and the reception would be poor. However, after using it for a while, I have found that it holds up well. I've also not had any reception issues, and that's also with going through a wall to the base unit. The receiver doesn't require any additional power, but the stick requires 3 AAA batteries. I haven't had to change them yet, so I don't know how long they actually last. I'm sure there are some fighting...

Good stick, but not the ultimate!
I am writing this review to help others who might be looking for an arcade style stick especially for fighting games. I have researched extensively online and had decided that I wanted a Pelican Real Arcade Stick. It had been very favorably reviewed by individuals and several gaming sites. Unfortunatel I had absolutely no luck in locating a new one. I even tried the company directly and found out that for some reason they discontinued it. Anyways, I was now looking for a decent stick at a fair price...
