Forget the naysayers, this is one endearing game

For the most part, remakes tend to be incredibly tricky affairs. Either they're merely souped-up versions of the original with better graphics/sound etc or they actually completely alter the game and make it better(or worse). Silver Star originally was on the Sega CD and now we have it here. It even got a further port with Lunar Legend for the GBA. So don't listen to everyone harping about the graphics or simplistic story or battle engine, it's an enjoyable and lighthearted RPG that you just can...

Only a fan of the original could love this game

I've managed to avoid buying a console for years and stick primarily to PC gaming. I finally broke down last year and bought a PS2 to check out all of the PS1 and 2 RPGs I missed out on. One of my rules in checking out RPGs was to go with obscure titles and not just mainstream Squaresoft RPGs. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete was one of the first vintage titles I checked out. Who says 2D sprite based games aren't worth it?!

A game worth scrounging for
