The Best Handheld Portable to Date
The Nintendo DS Lite is by far the best handheld/portable gaming system available on the market. Clever, intuitive, and unique, it brings new life to video games. Better Form, Worse Function
I have owned both versions of the Nintendo DS system and found that I like the DS Lite much less than the older DS, to the point of actually going back and exchanging it for an older model.The DS Lite is just as much fun and the screens are brighter but I am unhappy with almost all of the changes.The old DS wasn't anywhere near as pretty as the DS Lite but it was much sturdier.I am very gentle with my handhelds and the outside of my DS Lite had several scratches after a little over a week, it also...

Buy it from a local store and BUY THE EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN. YOU'LL NEED IT!
The DS doesn't hold a flame to the integrity of the SP it replaces when it comes to durability.I have purchased numerous nintendo products for my children.They are usually child friendly and durable.My kids have dropped their Advance SP single screens lots of times.Everytime i think they broke it but it still worked.So i purchased the DS expecting the same results for my kids.This first time my son dropped it, the screen broke completly off which resulted in a $65.00 repair bill from Nintendo.It...

Very good quality!
Ok.... The DS lite is just like an ipod nano... it is alot smaller, and more portable. The screens are amazing in the dark! So, u can play it till the sun comes up..... 1 game that i really don't play with is nintendogs.... now I used to like this game, and i played it 24/7... but now, it is really boring. I go on there occasionly just to feed my dogs, but not often. The games I would recomend the most is the NEW Mario bothers, lost in blue [someone stole that from me at school!], cooking mama ...

You expect anything less from Nintendo?
Nintendo has never been one to let the masses down when it comes to gaming.They could have just left the original DS alone and it would be just as successful as it is now.But they're perfectionists and they wanted us to have the better product.Sure most of us already had the original DS, but can you blame them?They fixed what we lamented most!A slimmer sleeker design, with a nice poly coating to fight against scuffs and marks.And more so the adjustment of screen brightness!Twice as brighter then...
