You can't turn jumps off!!!

Even though you can't turn the jumps off, this is still pretty good.Unfortunately you can't use it with all brands of game pads.So far, my Gamestop brand pad worked, but my friend's had a different brand that didn't work with either Extreme 1 or an older demo disk of DDRMax..I liked that you could dance to Culture Club and Duran Duran and other cool songs. This is still a great game to get even if you can't turn off what you don't want....

DDR is the best

Our daughter can't get enough of Dance Dance Revolution.This is really a great cardio workout for kids (and adults) and they don't even know that they are getting exercise.All the neighborhood kids visit us and all the want to do is DANCE!...

c'mon ppl this game isnt all that

first off i would like to say that this game is fun up to a certain point, and also the levels arent all that challenging which doesnt live up to the games name "Extreme" and for starters the only thing special about this game is they added a graph of how much calories you have burned "wow". i dont play this anymore because i brought ddr max2 which is off tha chain!! i play that all the time and this one is on the shelf collecting dust...

Some things don't get better with age...

DDR Extreme is all wrong. Most songs aren't even moderately challenging, even on heavy mode. The workout mode makes no sense to me; it will track your calories but you still have to play in game mode. This means that every 3 songs, you have to go through the whole loading process again. In DDR Max 2 the workout mode is different...you can play 400 songs if you want, without starting over.The nonstop mode is also frustrating as you can't customize it. That means you might start with a song on light...

Dance Dance Revolution Extreme

Dance Dance Revolution Extreme is not the newest installment in the DDR series. Nevertheless, this game exceeds in all aspects making it one of the best, if not the best Dance Dance Revolution game out there. This is by far my favorite game in the series because it has a great soundtrack featuring licensed songs from Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, and Kim Wilde.
