fun facts, nice graphics, though no ideas
Perhaps my sights are too high for cd-roms, but I would hope that they might teach kids to think more than merely entertain them with well-presented facts.Indeed, my daughter is becoming quite a reader of kids' science literature, which I think is definitely far better than this kind of software.While there are puzzles, this is largely a passive experience of clicking - with little cost if you guess wrong - and mini-movies and things to print.It passes the time, but teaches very little.Can't the...
