A Great Operating System

In respose to Bubba Franks' review:While it is true that out of the box, Kubuntu can't play mp3s or DVDs with CSS protection, the software for these tasks can be easily downloaded once the system is installed. On the wireless issue, Kubuntu comes with drivers for many adaptors preinstalled so you can start straight away. And if it doesn't you can easily download them with a wired internet connection first. This is NOT fully functional operating system OUT OF THE BOX

This is a list of things that Kubuntu does NOT do:1. You can not play commerical non-bootleg DVDs.2. You can not play mp3s.3. You can not get an internet connection if you use a USB wireless adapter (802.11b). You can download the necessary files to make the USB adapter work, but this requires *an internet connection* that you don't have if you only have the wireless capability.So, you can't watch dvd's, read or make mp3's, or get on the net using your USB wireless adapter. Great Release of Kubuntu
