Does not WORK!!!!

We are now on our 2nd disc and both did not work in my computer which is just a few years old. Never had a problem with any other software. Stay away from this game!!!...

Don't buy this

I installed this computer on a Gateway 700S and it doesn't work at all.I went to Atari's technical support and followed the suggestions for updating video, sound, and DirectX, which didn't help at all. Now I have a game I can't return and can't play....

Dora the Explorer Animal Adventures

Software is poor, tried on 3 different computers the cd won't run on any of them. Atari must know about the problem because the web site list what the computer does, but no solution to the problem. Its a waste of time and money....

Know your numbers?

Yes, as a previous reviewer said, the Lost City is full of number recognition.My kids are 5 and 2 1/2 and they are both big Dora fans.My 5 year old has tired of this game (we've had it at least a year), but my 2 1/2 year old loves to play the paint-by-number game (I just wish there are more than a handful of pictures) and can now recognize many numbers!So kudos to the game.But he still finds frustration with the other parts of this game. For a more rounded game, try Dora's backpack....

Adventures Await!

Dora the Explorer Animal Adventures makes an excellent beginner game.The characters speak slowly, and the instructions are thorough, in my opinion probably a too comprehensive.For instance, after you sign-in, the characters introduce themselves, and they explain about the big storm.It takes them 2 long minutes!That's a lot of time.I've found it's easier for this age group to listen to short explanations, so they can get on with game.If they're having problems, further instruction is always welcomed...
