Product Description
Combining puzzles, animations, and a loony cast of animal characters straight from a James Bond film, Spy Fox 2: Some Assembly Required equips players with fiendishly clever gadgets and the means to make fake identities for themselves. Thus armed, they can roam the World's Fair, searching for the critical off switch and deactivation codes to shut down the dogbot before it's too late.
Some Assembly Required has the usual virtues of a Spy Fox game: vivid and interesting visuals, great sound, intriguing puzzles, humor, and a lot of creativity. The gadgets are a particular delight, and the emphasis on mechanics will interest players who are keen to understand how things work. Parents will be pleased to see that values such as cooperation and teamwork are stressed, as Spy Fox relies heavily on scientists and other spies to help him complete his mission. Though the game has many animated sequences--which may frustrate task-oriented players---they are more entertaining than most segments in similar games.
Whether you're a fan of Spy Fox or you're just looking to solve some brainteasers that pack a humorous punch, Some Assembly Required will definitely deliver. The Mobile Command Center and Spy Fox gadgets await! Can you save civilization, or will SMELLY carry the day? (Ages 5 to 10) --Alyx Dellamonica

Spy Fox is very cool and fun for kids
We've purchased all three of the Spy Fox CD-Rom Games, and we love them all. My 6 year-old son has a great time using the spy gadgets to assist Spy Fox on his mission. The problems Spy Fox encounters are just hard enough to make the game a challenge. When you've finished the game, you really feel like you've accomplished something worth while....

VEry entertaining, and challenging without being too difficult. Great for kids in about 4th grade. We love this game, and the kids play it often....

Just Like Bond, the Villain Carries the Show...
...and what a fun show it is! Humongous' titles are all entertaining, but what distinguishes Spy Fox for me is that the humor works for adults and kids alike, and the characters are so vivid and lively. While the freshnessof the concept probably puts "Dry Cereal," the first in theseries, ahead of this sequel, my kids and I enjoyed this one for quite along time. Napoleon LaRoach, the evil villain bent on world domination inthis episode, is an absolute scream -- picture Herbert Lom at his PinkPanther...

Well, it tries to be entertaining...
Out of 5 kids who've tried my copy of this game, none were entertained enough to keep at it.It does try to be entertaining but there's nothing that really challenges them effectively or offers any kind of realeducational content. This game is just fluff, and far from Humongous'sbest work.Look for it used if you "have to have it"....
