Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow!

Been using Quicken for years, and this is by far the worst version ever. On my 2GHz PC I can see the screen redrawing because of all the fancy stuff they are trying to do with the interface - stuff that BTW adds little value to the overall application. It's a total dog!I'd stick with the 2006 version if I had the opportunity to go back. Unfortunately now that I've upgraded I believe I'm stuck....

So how long before the patches are released to address bugs?

OK, so I bought 2006 back in July, because I'd previously been at 2003, and needed to upgrade so that I could take advantage of the online banking and account download, which was going obsolete with 2003 (Grrr.)But then I found out that 2007 was going to be released in just a couple of weeks. I contacted quicken and they told me they would send me 2007 for free since I just purchased 2006.So I figured I'd just wait and use '07.Installed '07, and things generally seemed to go OK. Don't upgrade to this product.

I purchased and installed the new version of Quicken Home & Business.The first thing I noticed was that some software design genius decided that it would be a good idea to put black text on a dark background in the account bar.Also when the balance amounts are checked to not show in the total they a light grey color and become almost invisible.I searched everywhere for a place to change the color and after contacting Intuit I found out that you can't change it.I have use Quicken for over 10 years...

Don't buy!

We wish we could give this junk a zero star...We bought this today and wasted 4 hours getting the stupid thing finally installed after dozens of errors and downloads--and it crashed our computer and jammed it up no less than six times on top of that.When it was finally up and running and our computer was working with it after having to tweak the heck out of our system to make run (turn of virus protection, firewall, etc.), we discovered that Quicken 2007 wouldn't import our data from any version...

REBATES IS A SCAM

I PRE REGISTERED WITH INTUITE FOR THE REBATE, SENT IN ALL THE COPIES AND UPC'S THEY REQUIRE AND THEN THEY CLAIM MY REBATE IS NOT VALID BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT AT AMAZON.I READ THE LIST OF 3 STORES THAT DID NOT QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE AND AMAZON WAS NOT ON IT.I DO REBATES IN THE AMOUNT OF HUNDREDS A YEAR.THIS IS AN OLD TRICK I HAVE NOT SEEN FOR LONG TIME, I MEAN I DON'T HAVE MY REBATES TURNED DOWN, I DO MY HOME WORK.SHAME ON INTUIT....
