Good Price, Good Product

Bought Milia Evolution TV but use the EYE TV software to record.Found Evolution TV software to be a bit weak and not as comprehensive as the EYE TV software.Luckily the EYE TV software is configured to handle the Miglia Evolution TV USB.Godd overall buy for a wonderful price!...

Only an option if you don't want to record to DVD

I read through lots of reviews but didn't figure the Elgato TV200 was worth it, even at $280.I got this one for $230 even though there more negative reviews.Good thing Amazon has a return policy.Here's the scoop.Very easy to install and set up.After that, things go downhill.I tried to transfer a movie from Laserdisk, but once it was done, I then edited it with the edit movie function and tried to save it to my hard drive and it said that I didn't have enough space on it even though I have over 100gigs...

Do yourself a favor, don't buy this.

Where do I start, the horrible software, or the shoddy device? I guess I will describe the useless thing they call software first.In the real world, this software would still be in beta; no kidding, it's thatbad.It doesn't let you watch a channel while you are recording it, it misses scheduled recordings, it crashes arbitrarily, here's the kicker: it eats up A LOT of processor power.It uses two processes to work: Evolution TV(The main app) And EvolutionTvServer(The background app).The main app uses...

TivO for Mac - pretty close

So with my G4 notebook I'd seen TV tuners available that werent bad but not brilliant. Resolution was poor, pixelation occurred at all too small a window size so I bought one of these (not from here ;) ) and Ive got to say it soutstanding. Main things I like; 1.It looks pretty! It's very hi tech looking in 'Apple aluminum' and doesn't look out of place next to a Plasma or 'stereo' system. 2.It not only records in real MPEG4 without plugins needed (I believe that ElGatos EyeTV does require a proprietary...
