Terrible- - Doesn't work!!!!!!

I bought a Dazzle DVC90 thinking I could convert my VHS tapes and pitch my old VHS VCR.This doesn't work on either of my computers. The website is unhelpful.Look for another Brand!!...

Very Disapointed

I bought this to convert family VHS tapes to DVD format. The problem is that it limits the capture to a very small screen size (I am not a techie) that is roughly 1/4 of my 17 inch monitor screen. When I burned my first DVD and put it on my home system the picture was really rough - poor resolution. My main complaint is there is no mention of this on the box so I got burned for $70.It was a complete waste of money for my purposes!...

Total Garbage

I owned a dazzle product a few years back, and even then it was buggy.I wanted to get a new video capture device to do some editing at home. The one I had wanted was not available at Compusa so I picked up the Dazzle80 which was in the same price range. It never even occurred to me that the stated video quality would be so much poorer than other available products, and I didn't realize this until after I had it installed.Installation was no easy task either. It took me about an hour of fiddling with...

Works fine for me

Bought this and had it running in an hour. Am able to successfully capture signal from the cable box video/audio outputs. Successfully recorded several TV programs. The key to using a device like this is to have some experience in media capture/conversion and be ready for some test runs. Try configuring different options to get optimal results. Use the "Best Quality" option while capturing the signal.I used the DIVX codecs while converting to AVIs. Was surprised to see that it even captured HD channel...

Crap

Packaged software crashed every time.Tried to upgrade from the website...poorest customer service since the old days of Apple.I have had this thing for over a year and have only been able to transfer about 15 minutes of tiny screen size video. This was a waste of my money.Save yourself the headache.I'll get more satisfaction cramming this device down the garbage disposal than I ever did transferring videos of my children....
