Don't buy this product

Spent hours installing, re-installing, and capturing.It would die and crash my computer.It did not work on my Toshiba Satellite notebook (512MB RAM, 3.06GHz, Pentium 4), even with 50GB available on my HD.Tried switching cables.Would highly NOT recommend!...

Dazzle loses its brilliance

My experience with the Dazzle 90 has been very frustrating. The problems I had were not so much with the unit itself, its only an Analog to digital converter, but with the extremely buggy Pinnacle software. Here's my experience;At first I had trouble with the video lagging the audio, but found as many others have that you MUST make sure anything that could possibly be running on your computer is shut down, including your internet connection. I only have a 1.6GHZ PC, but this thing is a true system...

HOW TO USE THE DAZZLE DCV-90 WITHOUT THE SOFTWARE

I have been able to create and edit my video captures with the Dazzle DCV-90 without the Pinnacle Software. Windows XP is equipped with Windows Movie Maker I was able to download the Driver for the DVC-90 PCLEUSB2 from the Pinnacle website. Played a bit with the Microsoft Movie software and am presently copying the last of the Videocassette stuff that I recorded over DECADES. The software is a hard drive hog needes alot of room to place the files on. BUT IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE THE DEVICE WITHOUT...

Worked perfectly the first week

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone...It worked without a hitch the first week; but when I tried to adjust a video setting, the whole capture program stopped functiong. All I am able to do now is edit existing avi., and mpeg files....
