Product Description

The only Ergonomically Functional Neutral mouse that does not require to be gripped and untwists the wrist. It is a 3-Button, scroll wheel mouse, USB "plug-n-play" so no software is usually required for basic operation. Some brands of PC may require an extra module for button assignment, which is available from the "User" section of the Support pages. A PS/2 adaptor is provided, primarily for NT 4.0 users, all other users are advised to use USB as this is a high speed optical device that operates more effectively on that basis. PC and Mac compatible, it removes Static Posture, a working position that keeps muscles tensed, which is now associated with the development of impairment in computer mouse users and impedes their use by persons with disability. It is Universally Assistive Technology in that it does not discriminate in either appearance or by its use and meets the relevant standards for Accessible Technology, defined under Section 508 Law.

arist/arm hurts worse

i have been using this mouse for a few days now and my wrist hurts more and now my arm hurts too. my hand keeps wanting to rotate back to the standard mouse position. it seems like there is a lot of getting used to for this mouse. you have to retrain yourself. my BIGGEST complaint is that you have to push much harder on the mouse buttons, which is making my shoulder sore. who'd of thunk it?! you also are forced to buy a larger mouse pad (the makers make one that is 8.5"x11") because it falls off...

Yes they are making a profit but it works!

Yep, quality could be better but it is the best available. Use with a foot switch for your clicks and its unbeatable. Not cheap but the grip design is better by far than the evoluent mouse. Well worth it - ask workself whats your health worth?...

Great idea; poor execution

For the 8 months this device worked, I had complete relief from shoulder and wrist pain from mousing.Unfortunately, from day one, I was disappointed in the quality and feel: the hard, brittle plastic, the clunky button 'action,' and the huge footprint. And it took only six months of reasonable use for the low-quality cable attachment to result in intermittent circuit breaks. For the price paid, I expect a good idea AND reasonable quality. It's still a good idea - too bad the quality of this device...

It really helped me

This mouse was expensive but it helped to reduce the pain in my wrists and shoulders from arthritis and repetative strain. It did what it promised to do, so it was worth the price I paid....
