Low Priced Alternative to Everything...

I purchased this tv card because I wanted a tv card with a remote control.Well it came with one, and it made a great coaster.Installation - this card is not made for Windows XP with higher than SP1 (and this is probably you).This means that it WILL work (if you download the updates from the official website), but none of the features will function properly.The channel-changing toggle on the card itself did not work.The remote (with new battery) did not work.The software was extremely buggy, but...

This little thing is a marvel, but it's a little hard to set up.....

First, thanks to everyone who reviewed this product before I bought it.The equipment works well and you get all of the functionality that's promised.Setup, however, is a bit of a chore.To help all future consumers out, here are some what I hope are helpful hints:1) Get the drivers and setup softward from the www.msi.com.tw website. The ones on the CD don't work.2) Install the drivers from the zip files that you download.3) Plug in the device in the USB port.When Windows (I have the Media Center...

SO FAR SO GOOD

Received this item yesterday, so my opinion/experience is limited.Setup for me was fairly easy.I attached the usb cable to my usb port in my desktop, the cable to the cable outlet in my wall, the audio cable to the audio-in spot on my desktop, and the a/c adapter into an outlet.Once I downloaded the software (there is no instruction/installation manual) I was ready to go.My desktop computer is a Dell Dimension 4600 w/Windows XP Home Edition (we also have high speed cable internet and wireless networking...

Software Doesn't Work with my new Dell XPS media center edition

Unfortunately, this nice packaged piece of hardware is useless as the operating software will not load on my computer.Others online have had similar problems.Customer service and FAQ's unable to fix the problem. Beware......
