Black Ice!

The Antec Sonata Mid Tower Case is solid, quiet, and heavy like a block of Black Ice!The first one was so good, I bought a second for another PC rebuild. The large 120mm case and very quite PS fan finally brought peace and quiet to the room. Easy removal of front bay drives with screw on rails with clips - same for the large number of side facing internal drive bays. ATX boards fix perfectly. Solid construction. Amazon's free super savings makes this a great deal....

Not Quite Perfect, but Extremely Close

My former case had four lighted 80mm case fans, a clear side panel, a front bezel with more lights, and a gumball machine quality power supply that came with it. I was tired of the flashy look and the power supply was beginning to fail, so I decided it was time for a new case.I chose the Antec Sonata because I wanted a quieter computer. At its current price, this case is worth it for the power supply alone, which is a special quiet version of Antec's Truepower and isn't sold separately. When I got...

Good while it works

The case started off well enough - installing the system parts was neither easier nor more difficult than average. At first, despite having more fans than my previous system it genuinely was more silent. But things went downhill fast - the construction of the case is flimsy at best, meaning that it starts to come apart as the screws loosen and everything shakes and rattles - it is like having a jet engine next to my head.It is now far louder than my older system!I tighten the screws regularly, but...

good case, but not perfect...

i bought this case along with a MSI K8N Neo platinum motherboard to build my first homemade pc.individually, they're both great products.but together, they have created some incompatibility issues.first, Antec case comes with two USB front panel jack. But the USB header connector inside the case isn't compatible with the USB header located on the MSI motherboard.Namely, pin 10 (ground) on the Antec usb connector is not empty, it has a thin black wire in it. While the pin10 of the D-bracket USB header...
