Creative Lab's Inspire P5800 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System has 72 watts of power, the most in its class, for more explosive gaming in 5.1 surround sound. And it was designed with a more powerful center satellite to match the audio requirements of the latest games and movies. The P5800 also has a wired remote that can be conveniently placed anywhere on the desktop, unlike other systems that cut costs by integrating the controls into one of the speakers. It includes a bass level control for personalized adjustment (far more user-friendly than making you crawl on the floor to the subwoofer to turn up the bass!) and a headphone jack for private listening.

Among the system's many features are its powerful center satellite, designed to enhance your video and gaming experience; an ultra-powerful powerful wooden subwoofer with a large 5.25-inch long throw driver and a flared port for a deeper and cleaner bass; and an auxiliary input for listening to MP3 and music players while gaming. Excellent Speaker System

I grudgingly decided to get a new PC speaker system after the "puck" controller on my Monsoon 3-piece system went bad (Monsoon is out of business so replacement parts are not available). Don't Look Any More - These are the speakers for YOU!

I spent a lot of time looking and listening to a lot of different speakers in the local electronics stores.I kept going back to look at these online and read the reviews.For the money I thought I can't go wrong, and when I first hooked them up, I thought they did not sound any better than my old speakers--UNTIL I adjusted the sound under the SURROUND MIXER (under advanced tab)- moved all the settings in the middle except for the subwoofer.It made a world of difference.These speakers sound incredible...

Wow

I wont get technical cuz honestly i know little close to nothing about speakers. But im into music alot so i thought i'd update my laptop speakers...big time. And these things are nicer than any other speaker I'VE heard. The SUB sounds nice, n if u combine them with the Creative soundblaster the options and preferences are limitless! Dont even THINK about whether you should buy them, at the price, its a steal....

Good Sound System for the Computer

This is an amazing sound system for the computer. For a true 5.1 sound, the pc needs to have a sound card that supports 5.1 and 3 3.5 outputs for the woofer,front and rear speakers. For those who have the traditional single 3.5 output(but the sound card supports 5.1), a usb adapter for 5.1 is needed. If you use the auxillary input, you'll only get a 2.1 effect.I think one main drawback of this system is the length of the rear speaker wires. And they cannot be also supplemented with additional wiring...

Really great sound system

This sound system is all you need inless you want to switch to the digital kind that only needs one wire to be pugged into the sound card instead of 3.Make sure you have a decent sonund card before you buy any surround sound speakers. I have an 24bit creative sound blaster audigy platinim. the card is a few years old but its still better than any of the intergrated surround sound systems, because most of those are only 16bit sound.Also NOTE if you have a creative sound card to get the newest drivers...
