Amazing for the price

I purchased these at Target for $15 US. They're simply the best sub-$20 PC speakers I've ever used. Sound quality and volume control are excellent, and the design is handsome. If you need cheap speakers and find these for under $20, buy them. Dont waste time searching for a better deal....

Sleek speakers with Slick Sound.

After reading other reviews I finally decided to get these speakers.I was not expecting as much as I got.The speakers are nice sized (about as tall as my laptop open, 12 inches app.) and have incredible sound for the value.When I first plugged them in I forgot to turn up my laptop's volume and got a nice surprise from the speakers when I cranked them all the way up.They do get a little distorted with more emphatic bass but overall handle all types of music nicely.Overall a superb product at a superb...

Worth the price

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife.The Altec Lansing 120 speakers are pretty decent, and are certainly much better than the generic speakers that came with my wife's computer.Music aficionados will be disappointed that there is no way to adjust anything other than the volume on these speakers.I have Creative Labs Sound Blaster SBS20 speakers (with bass and treble controls), and they sound much clearer than these Altec Lansing speakers.Nevertheless, I must say that for the price the Altec...

Fantasic value

I needed speakers for my laptop, and bought these because they were very inexpensive and Altec Lansing is a name is trust.And they are fantastic!Great sound and they go very loud.The bass could be a little stronger, but considering there is no subwoofer it is very good.I highly recommend these if you want great sound but don't want to pay a lot....
