Clie N610C. A repair after 14 months costs too much
I bought the unit in January 2002. By design or bad luck, the unit froze. I bought it from [a department store] and they offeredno extended warranty.I called Sony two days ago. They have the most impressive and accurate voice messaging system I have ever heard. After a lengthy, but clever, screening, I managed to hear human voices. Very kind, obviously reading scripts from screens. I could not distinguish the electronic voice system from actual real people. They were following a coreographed procedure...

Excellent PDA
When my Palm 3XE was on its death bed I began searching for a PDA. I ended up replacing it with the Sony N610C.The Good:Excellent display-High resolution; I appreciate this more than I thought I would. Go for color-its worth it.Long battery life.Jog dial-really nice.Cover is fine-I have had no problems with this.Asthetics-very nice looking PDA.Price-you can get a great deal on one now that the 615 is out.The Bad:Its heavy.Sony provided brochures not very helpful - although I had a good experience...

A worthy upgrade
When I saw a demo unit of this beauty sold for only $250 at CompUSA, I could not help me to get one to upgrade my aging Palm IIIx. Overall, it is a worthy ugrade. Here are what I like and not:What I like:1) best screen I've ever seen, bright and Hi-Res, it is great to shot off your photos;2) Jog-dial is easy for one hand operation;3) long battery life;4) very stylish;5) Memory stick - what! Excellent product
The bought the Sony Clie after having problems with the Compaq iPAQ.The Sony has worked great.So far the 8 megs of memory have been plenty, even though I have added a number of programs.Syncing up with the computer works well and it is very easy to move programs from computer to the Clie.I have not have any problems with the docking station, it seems much more stable than the one for the iPAQ.The battery life is excellent, easily going over one day.The display is the high point, both in bright and...

A pretty good PDA
I purchased this as a replacement for my Handspring Visor Deluxe, and on the whole, I would say it has been a positive experience.What I like:1. The sharp color screen.2. The smaller, thinner size.3. Memory stick capability.4. It is faster.What I don't like:1. Placement of the power button directly below the up/down button.2.
