I'd rather poke my eye with a sharp stick...

...than continue to deal with this peice of junk.The thing gave me nothing but headaches, and I'd give it NO stars if Amazon would let me.Some of the issues I encountered were...a) It is permanently stuck on one specific network address (192.168.2.x).If you want to change it to anything else, the thing stops working.It simply reboots over and over, forcing you to reset to factory default and lose all your settings.b) when you instruct it to download the latest firmware, it stops working.It simply...

Easy setup, easy use.

I have had this router for a while now and love it.I run a mac so I didn't worry about the install disk.I have used it with 2 different broadband ISP's with no problem.I do wish it had removable antennas link many others.I have even purchased a second one for my sister.She has had no problems with it either.Actually of all of the networking hardware, it has been the most reliable and easiest to set-up.Don't use the install CD, just use the web-page setup option....

Works great!

I don't know why people are having such problems with the wireless router...I plugged it in and I was online instantly. Works great wirelessly with my MacBook Pro...I get full signal being downstairs in my house with the Belkin unit upstairs in my office. Never any dropped signals with it. I guess its hit or miss with people's set up.I'm about to order another one for my sister who just purchased a notebook with internal wireless....

Very easy setup and decent signal

Incredibly clear and easy setup directions. Done in a mere few minutes. It found my DSL internet connection automatically, but if it hadn't, there was a lovely typed instruction sheet in the box listing LOTS of DSL providers, including mine, with details for how to configure things. I never needed it, but it was nice to know it was there. (I had tried to set up a Linksys router the week before and it never managed to find my internet connection at all and had lousy, techspeak instructions that were...

3 minute setup? Not! Try 3 hour then return item.

The box says "3 minute" set up. Yeah, but only if you don't expect the wirless portion of this dog to work. Every time you try and set up any of the wireless settings, the internet connection drops. You can't change channels, you can't set WEP security. Yeah, 24/7 support was there, and I used several hours. But only after plugging in, unplugging, resetting, rebooting, reinstalling did they escalate to tier two who in one minute admitted that it was defective. Returned, bought another one, and that...
