Garmin 160C Portable Fishfinder (Dual Beam)

Garmin 160C Portable Fishfinder with Dual Beam is an affordable color sonar option for recreational fishermen who primarily fish freshwater lakes. Fish returns and bottom information are clearly shown on the unit's bright, sunlight-readable color display, making it easier for you to scope out your fishing grounds. The Fishfinder 160C offers dual-beam transducer operation for improved shallow water performance and for readings up to 900 feet in depth. Like all Garmin fishfinders, the 160C is rugged, waterproof, and able to stand up to the elements.

The Fishfinder 160C also offers Ultrascroll which allows boaters to get a much faster refresh rate on their sonar display. AutoGain, as well as user adjustable gain, is also standard on all of Garmin's new fishfinders. Other feat rues include a bright, 16-color. 3.2-square-inch (4.5-inch diagonal) CSTN display with a CCFL backlight for the display and LED backlight for keypad. The patented transom/trolling mount transducer offers a user-selectable narrow (14-degree) or wide (45-degree) view to see more fish in. Garmin's See-Thru technology shows weak and strong returns simultaneously, and the Fishfinder 160C includes both 2x and 4x automatic and manual zoom.

This compact unit measures 6.1 x 4.9 x 2.9 inches (WxHxD) and includes alarms for fish size, shallow water, deep water and low battery. It also includes a mounting bracket, carry case and transducer suction cup mount that allow for easy portability and installation.
