The UXK01 from Sharp is an optional cordless phone for use with the UX-CC500 fax machine. Up to three extra handsets can be added to the system, providing you with multiple phone extensions as well as intercom and call-transfer functions. The UXK01 utilizes the 2.4 GHz frequency, providing clearer reception and greater range than some older phones operating on lower bands.

Caller ID and call waiting compatible, the UXK01 has a 30-number caller ID memory, as well as a 45-entry phone directory (40 of which are shared between the fax machine and the handset). An illuminated keypad makes dialing in poorly-lit environments a snap, while a page button makes finding a misplaced handset quick and easy. You can remotely operate the fax from the handset, as well as check any messages on the fax machine's answering system. With any-key answer, you can pick up an incoming call by pressing any of the phone's buttons, and headset compatibility allows you to communicate hands-free (headset sold separately).

The handset has a four-hour talk time and lasts up to three days on standby, while a low-battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to its cradle for recharging. Additionally, handset and ringer volume controls let you adjust levels to your liking. The UXK01 comes backed with a 90-day limited warranty.
