The slim, wallet-sized JVC SU-DH1 weighs in at just 3.5 ounces with two AA batteries installed and easily connects to a laptop computer, portable DVD player, handheld video game system or other portable product. With Dolby Headphone technology, it delivers virtual surround sound on-the-go from multimedia material labeled with Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Digital Surround EX, DTS-ES and MPEG-2 AAC. In addition, the headphone adaptor includes Dolby Pro Logic II, which means that it can provide surround sound from two-channel sources, providing enhanced enjoyment with a variety of entertainment sources, like in-flight movies, portable music players and portable game systems. It offers three different Dolby Headphone modes: the DH1 replicates a studio environment - a room with little reverberation; the DH2 replicates a typical listening room environment and the DH3 delivers a theater or concert hall effect.
