Product Description
The high-capacity, 1800 mAH Rayovac NM713-2 Rechargeable NiMH D Batteries last up to three times longer in digital cameras than standard alkaline, and can be recharged up to 500 times. That means more shots on a single set of batteries, not to mention thousands of dollars in savings on batteries for your high-drain digital still camera. Plus, with Rayovac NiMH batteries, there are no "memory" problems -- recharge your Rayovac batteries any time, even if they are only partially drained.
Usage Tips
- Always charge NiMH batteries before first use
- For maximum performance, charge batteries prior to using if stored for more than one month
- Charge in any Rayovac NiMH Battery Charger (Note: older Rayovac Renewal rechargeable alkaline power stations or battery chargers do not charge NiMH batteries)
- NiMH batteries can be disposed of with regular trash -- NiMH is safe for the environment
One two-pack of Rayovac NM713-2 Rechargeable NiMH D Batteries (two total batteries).

It's a good choice
I just received the order today. The batteries are 2900 mAH, which is larger than Energizer's (2500mAh), so I expect them to last longer. Indeed, they are lighter than alkaline, they are probably AA in a D box, so I expect them to last less, however, at the end of the day I will end up saving money. If you order this you get a pack of two batteries, but I assumed I would get two packs with two batteries each. Here's what caused my confusion. If you buyyou get two packs each with 8 cells, a total...

Don't Be Fooled
This is a AA battery in a D size case. It will last less than half the time of a "real" D size NiMH cell. The power available from a battery is indicated by the mAH rating, with more being better. The price of this item looks good until you realize you are paying for a D cell and getting AA performance....

BabyToys
The batteries were packed well and received quickly. These are great to use on baby toys (as well as your big kid toys)... just buy an extra set so you can always have a set charging while the other is in the toy.The only reason I mention that is because the batteries do run down kind of quickly, and take up to 8 hours to fully charge. But I'm not complaining... while there is an initial investment, think of the money you'll save on buying new batteries all the time. And you'll be doing a small part...

These are AA batteries in a D sized case
Don't get fooled like I did. It turns out that a real D NiMH cell should store 7500-10000 mAh....

Very low power.
The AA that you can get have a mah rating of 2500. The D battery should have at least 3 times that much. These are old and while they may be good batteries, they won't give you power very long....
