Amazon.com also continues to allow customers to purchase with confidence with our A-to-z and Safe Shopping Guarantees.

This service plan, provided by NEW, protects your Amazon.com purchase for two years from the day you buy your electronics product. After you purchase this plan, NEW will send you an e-mail including its toll-free customer service number and the information you'll need if it becomes necessary to file a claim. Should your product break during the coverage period, call NEW's toll-free customer service number and, if the damage is covered under the service plan, your item will be repaired. You may be asked either to mail in your product for repair (in which case NEW will send you a prepaid shipping label) or to take your product to a local preauthorized repair center. In some cases, at the discretion of NEW, you may be reimbursed the full purchase price of the product, up to a maximum of $699.99.

This service plan is valid for any new electronics product purchased at Amazon.com, including any products purchased new from any Amazon.com seller.

The products covered by this replacement include any of the following, priced between $200.00 and $699.99): printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, multifunction devices (copier/scanner/printer/fax), video projectors and other presentation devices, laser pointers, and cordless telephones. Many office electronics products carry a manufacturer's warranty. If such a warranty is provided, NEW's service plan will be valid at the same time as the product manufacturer's original warranty, and you will be able to file a claim with the manufacturer (if the damage is covered by the manufacturer's warranty) or with NEW. NEW's service plan covers problems certain manufacturer's warranties sometimes do not, such as failure or damage due to normal wear and tear or electrical power surges.

This plan excludes all software, video games, and used or refurbished products, and does not cover failure or damage caused by abuse.
