Hard to use, unreliable, not recommended

This is the 3rd alti/baro/compass combo watch I own, and I'm looking for #4 now. I like the decent price for the decent set of features offered, the fairly sleek looks of the watch, the indiglo lighting, and the big display which makes it legible to my slowly fading short-distance vision, unlike my previous Casio :-) It's also fairly rugged and kept on tickin' after ~1 year of rough use at times.Unfortunately, I do not like at all the wheel used to quickly go from mode to mode and to set it.
