Works as advertised

I have had this KVM for over 6 months now- and it works great.I use to switch a Dell wireless KB/Mouse with a Dell docking station/laptop and a Dell tower.Every once in a while the autodetect is problematic, but I am pretty sure that is a problem with the laptop/docking station, not the KVM.Never really noticed any flicker or any other image/quality issues. The only complaint is the red/green status lights in the front- I have no idea what they are trying to tell me.I am both too lazy to look it...

First kvm

Using this kvm to switch between a WindowsXP box and a Linux x86(FC-5) box. Installation was smooth ... just connected the cables to both the machines and the keyboard/mouse(wired). Powered them on one by one, with the selector switched to the machine that was booting up. XP seemed to take a little while to recognize the keyboard and mouse, but Linux recognized both immediately. Seeing the same behaviour when switching between the computers ... XP will take 2-3 seconds to recognize the keyboard...

This USB KVM switch works as it should! It switches 3 USB devices to a single USB port on each connected computer. I use a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and mouse combo and it works great! Even the special multimedia keys work. This switch switches USB without touching it as is the case with many KVM switches. The "negative" is that you have no on screen information about switching (who cares anyway). The video is also switched without touching it. There is no difference in resolution or screen quality...

Actually works

It actually works. My only complaint is that when I use it with my laptop, turn off the laptop's built-in video, switch to the other computer on the KVM, then try to wake the laptop... sometimes it doesn't work. But that is easily solved by leaving the laptop's display on.In response to another reviewer who noted a flicker at high monitor resolution: I noticed the same thing when using it for my laptop, but was able to solve it by turning up the laptop's refresh rate. (Probably this will shorten...
