Excellent scanner
I have used a Microtek ScanMaker 35t Plus for film and two flatbed scanners for paper copies. The Microtek was a great disappointment that does not perform as expected. After acquiring the CanoScan D2400U, I can get rid of my three scanners and can scan larger-format negatives as well. The speed of this scanner is not the best, but this does not really bother me.At least, a prescan of three 35mm negatives at once do save some preview time. The sharpness might be a bit less than a dedicated film scanner...
