All PowerWave receivers are superheterodyne technology and specifically designed for use in areas with potentially high levels of radio interference. The PowerWave signal is able to punch through when other transmitters try and fail. Each PowerWave receiver comes with a helical resonator as an antenna pre-filter to maximize range and clarity. PowerWave receivers automatically perform non-polled supervision of every PowerWave transmitter upon activation. This includes the transmitter battery condition along with the alarm status of all PowerWave transmitters which have been loaded into memory.
