Smoothly designed in a durable aluminum body, the Canon Sure Shot 115u is easy to use and can adjust to most situations to capture clear photos. The 3x zoom (38 to 115 millimeters) provides a wide range of options in snapping your subject. The autofocus system uses 3 sensors to create a sharp and clear image, even when the subject is in motion or off-center. The 115u has several shooting modes such as automatic, action, night scene, portrait, and close-up mode.

Film loading, advance, and rewind are fully automatic for easy operation, and you can even rewind mid-roll as well. The flash can be set to automatic, fill, off, or red-eye reduction. Use the exposure compensation to help show subjects out in under or over lit situations. The 10-second self-timer is useful for self-portraits or group shots. You can also imprint the date onto your photos for record-keeping. This camera kit also includes a wrist strap, soft compact case, one 3-volt lithium battery (CR2), and one 24-exposure roll of 35mm film.

The Canon Sure Shot 115 w/Zoom is a great choice for the price!We took all our vacation picture with it right after getting the camera and were afraid of what we might get. We were pleasantly surprised. The features and zoom were easy to use and the quality of the pictures and lighting were excellent.We will use this camera for a long time to come....

Perfect Camera for that Perfect Shot

This camera is great for people who perfer film over digital. I bought it for a photography class and liked it so much I use it everywhere. Its size is ideal for fitting into any pocket. It has exelent zoom. It winds your film automaticly when putting the film in, after taking each exposer and winds all the way back once you have taken the last picture. The flash and shutter can easily be ajusted. You are able to set it so the date and/or time will be printed on the negative. It includes a timer...

If you ABSOLUTELY need a zoom. If not....

Let me start off by saying that I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to photography. All things considered, I would much rather shoot film than digital. I primarily shoot in B+W, with an SLR, process my own film, and if I need a digital copy, I'll have the film scanned. I own a terrific little digi-cam (Canon S330), but I never fell in love with the format. I also use my 24mm and 50mm lens more than any other in my bag.That being said, I wanted to compliment my SLR system with a small 35mm...

Great little camera!

I'm a person who needed Basic Camera Use 101 and Cameras for dummies so my sister bought me a Canon Sureshot for Christmas fifteen years ago. I liked it so much I replaced the old one with this current model - although the old one was still going. It's extremely user-friendly and near-impossible to take a bad picture with this great little camera. Forget the more expensive models - for the average tourist or family shutterbug, this is what you need. Great value for the price and it's also very forgiving...
