Good "workhorse" product

I decided to get this to share theatre photos with cast/crew after performances. The resolution is not great, but I've had no complaints. The one thing is that it doesn't seem to show the pictures in order! It seems to just randomly order them...I haven't figured that out yet!But I like it!Having the battery is nice, but it doesn't last very long without recharging. On the whole, good product, easy to use and does what you need it to do....

Top value for the money!

I read all the previous reviews before purchasing this unit.Because of the low cost (hundreds less than most alternatives), I decided to go ahead. My wife and I love it!I did obtain the firmware upgrade and as far as we are concerned, it nicely fits photos into the frame without the stretching we and others have seen.I do not see any lack of yellow as noted above, and the pictures are detailed enough to allow the main objective (taking lots of photos along on a trip to share with friends) to be met...

Not Quite There

The product would be more satiafying if:1. The brightness could be adjusted for viewing.2. It could be turned off during viewing to begin at the point at which it was turned off when it is turned on again.3. It could be operated while in the frame that is provited....

Terrible picture quality and buggy firmware

I just received one of these today.I was drawn to the nice leather frame (and it is nice). The picture quality, however, reminded me of an old videogame. The faces almost looked painted they had so little depth and detail, and the dots were still visible at 3 feet away. It's kind of a shame since this product has a lot of nice features (available batery for portability, nice frame, slideshow, folders, ability to use filename, etc.), but the PQ was just too terrible. Also, the model I received had a...

Scrren Aspect Ratio is adjustable

I have spent a lot of time working with this unit to present a specific exhibition of 250 images. The other reviewers have not realized that you can change the Screen Aspect Ration from the way it comes to a 4:3 ratio which corresponds to how our digital cameras store pictures. (RTFM) The device will resize your image to fit the screen if it is too big.The color balance is a bit off.Yellows don't reproduce well, but on the whole it's really good....
