Orion 60mm Wide Adapter, Canon EOS

Use this adapter in combination with our special Wide T-ring to minimize vignetting of images on a 35mm film frame in prime focus photography. Less vignetting occurs than when T-ring is coupled to standard 43mm or 36.4mm adapters. The threaded side of this adapter screws into the focuser drawtube, while the flanged side fits into the Wide T-ring (with inner ring removed per instructions) attached to the camera. Three thumbscrews allow quick removal of the camera from the telescope and also allow camera to be conveniently rotated for image framing. Use of a wide T-ring and 60mm adapter combination is recommended (but not necessary) for prime focus photography with the VX102-ED and Fluorite refractors, VX120, and VX114-ED refractors. There are three different 60mm adapters; be sure to select the correct one for your brand of camera. Wide T-ring sold separately.
