Mediocre-- Not Suited for a Serious Photographer.

If you are looking to own an inexpensive polaroid camera for nostalgic purposes or to have fun with, then I would highly recommend this camera.Otherwise, opt to spend a bit more. As stated before, the color contrast in photographs is terrible. Colors are murky, dull, and inaccurate to life.Subjects are constantly blurry-- particularly if the shot is taken closer than 2 or 3 feet. Yet if there is a significant distance between the camera and the subject, it loses all definition.Indoor pictures are...

A pretty sweet camera

Yeah, Sweet camera. It was basically ready out of the box once I added the film. Everyobody thinks it's really cool. It's great to have the instant photos, so real and so tangible. Each picture is one of a kind. This camera works great, but I noticed at night that the pictures are a little dark if the subject is more than 5-6 feet away, but for the price I think It's a pretty good deal.Be aware that the film is expensive, it comes out to about a dollar a photo. Othewise it's Great!...

Polaroid One600

The camera does what it is supposed to do--take photos. It is best when used close up and in bright(er) light. When using flash, the subject should be in "pretty good" light to begin with. This camera isn't for landscapes nor close-ups (such as flower blossoms)....

Why a timer.....if there is no tripod socket??

There are two things i dislike about the One 600 ultra.Other than that.....I think it is a great value for the money.First off....why have a self timer......and not include a socket on the bottom of the camera to put it on a tripod??....The Polaroid One had thetripod socket feature...and i miss it very much on this camera.Secondly...i dislike the fact that there is no way to turn off the flash. There are times (like taking pictures of Christmas lights) that you only want ambient light included in...

poor color and contrast

You can't beat the immediacy of the Polaroid cameras, but I was disappointed by how poor the color is in the snapshots - very washed out - and the contrast is also pretty bad.A slightly different model of the One600 that we got for my son a year ago was much better....
