This microscope is manufactured with a rotating 2x - 4x stereo objective made from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction with the 10x (20mm) stereo eyepieces, you can achieve magnifications of 20x and 40x right out of the box. We offer a range of optional eyepieces and objectives as well. With our optional wide field 5x eyepieces, you can extend the viewing magnification range from to 10x to 20x, with our optional 15x eyepieces, you can add magnification ranges from 30 to 60x, and with the 20x eyepieces you can add magnifications of 40x and 80x. That means, with just a few sets of eyepieces this incredible microscope can delivery magnifications of 10x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 60x, and 80x.Model #653001 stereo microscope has ergonomic features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible. The main microscope head sits at a comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for adjustments in the interpupillary distance (55mm to 75mm wide). There is diopter focusing adjustment, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. T his microscope includes reversible black/white specimen plate. Also included is a plastic dust cover and a lens cleaning cloth to keep your microscope in clean dust-free condition.
