20x-40x STEREO MICROSCOPE, TRINOCULAR HEAD, DUAL LIGHTS

This microscope is designed for professional grade viewing of a wide range of specimens. This microscope is manufactured with a rotating 2x - 4x objective lens made from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction with the 10x (20mm) stereo eyepieces, you can achieve magnifications of 20x to 40x right out of the box. We offer a range of optional eyepieces and objectives as well. An optional wide field 15x eyepieces, allows for extended viewing magnifications to 30x and 60x, and the optional 20x eyepieces, enables magnifications of 40x and 80x.Threaded auxiliary objective lenses are also available in .5x, 1.5x and 2x powers.The microscope head has a threaded trinocular imaging port that enables you to attach a CCD camera or a photo-tube eyepiece (available separately).This microscope has dual built-in infinitely variable halogen lighting. This enables you to make fine lighting adjustments from above and below the specimen.Spare halogen bulbs are included.This model has ergonomic features. The main microscope head swivels 360 degrees for viewing from any angle, and the head itself sits at a comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for adjustable interpupillary distance. There is diopter focusing adjustments, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand, and features a tension control mechanism allowing for adjustment of the focuser's sensitivity. Unlike many cheaper stereo microscopes, this model mounts on a height adjustable base, allowing the entire scope head to be adjusted higher or lower to accommodate very large specimens.This microscope includes reversible black/white specimen plate and a frosted glass specimen plate. Also included is a plastic dust cover and a lens cleaning cloth.A dark field condenser is an available accessory.
