Product Description
The JVC SR-V101US is a S-VHS VCR with a TV tuner that offers up to 10 hours of record time on a single cassette. The SVHS format gives twice the quality of standard VHS and this machine can record the high quality on standard VHS tapes, no need for expensive (and hard to find) S-VHS tapes. In addition this full featured deck has some useful repeat functions that can be applied to retail display, exhibitions and security purposes. SVHS-ET Recording - The S-VHS format was developed for professional video producers and records at twice the resolution as standard consumer VHS. This machine will record in S-VHS and do it on standard, inexpensive VHS tapes.

Excellent S-VHS Recorder
JVC has always manufactured the best S-VHS recorders. You get 400 lines of resolution when you record on S-VHS tape in the SP mode. This unit does have S-VHS ET capability but I still prefer to record on S-VHS tapes for best results. This is an exceptional unit. If you record off cable or Satellite TV the playback picture quality looks outstanding....
