Product Description
The Maxima Impax 300i is Samsung's streamlined APS point-and-shoot camera. Ultracompact, the Impax 300i features automatic focus, programmed electronic autoexposure, with a 28 to 80mm zoom lens and automatic flash built in.
The autoflash comes with an array of modes, including Fill-in, Red-Eye Reduction, Flash-Off, Night Mode, and Slow Sync. Because the Impax 300i is an APS camera, film loading is drop-in, rewind is automatic, and you can print your pictures in three formats, including panoramic.
Other options include a self-timer, magnetic IX, PARm PQI, and Caption mode as well as date imprinting in five formats.

I have been using this camera since couple years, my experience is great!!!!! This is compact camera with excellent zoom, and the picture quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend this camera, if you are looking for APS camera....

Save your money...get a camera from a real camera company
I bought this camera with high expectations about two years ago...and have been riddled with problems ever since.I was hesistant to buy a Samsung camera, as this company is not very established in photography...but the features offered for the money seemed too good to pass up.When the camera does take pictures, they are of pretty good quality (except that the red-eye reduction frequently gets shut off by the brush of an unknowing fingertip)...but this happens rarely.From a month old the shutter...

This is "THE APS CAMERA"!!
I have used this camera for more than a year now and believe me, it's a great camera. I travel a lot and I have over 500 photos now which I washed after using this camera and each one of them is extremely satisfying. They come out clear and with excellent quality. I like this one. It's good value for money....

poor quality
I am glad Amazon has a good return policy.This camera seemed great, but it is very flimsy and broke quickly.The film compartment became stuck open and I had to use a screwdriver to rewind the film to get it out.I should have paid attention to the other review that complained of the same thing, and I should have realized - Samsung is not known for making cameras....

An extremely decent camera for the money
This camera is a great deal for the price. It features the APS film system and a great zoom lens [80mm] at a price that is less than many othermanufacturers' non-zoom APS cameras.The zoom is controlled and aspowerful as one can reasonably expect. Generally speaking, the camera isboth extremely easy to use and reliable. Used properly, it takes very goodpictures. It is every bit as small as many much more expensive APS cameras,though it is a tad heavier than some. Overall, the Impax 300ix is a greatbargain...
