Don't even think about it!
Hello everyone. I have been using this camera for close to 1 year. I think i can tell you all a bit about it.Good:1. It is very lightweight2. It has a stylish front3. When it every single setting is correct according to the environment you are in, it will take good shots. just good, not great.Bad and Ugly:1. battery life is so poor that it will leave you poor. Only about 18 shots per 4 AAA batteries.2. Mediocre performance with photos3. No optical zoom, digital zoom is no good!4. tiny space for...

Best Value For The Dollar
Paid just over a $100.00 for this 2.1 megapixel camera and its terrific.Very easy to use,great features for this price range.Like all digital cameras,make sure you purchase some rechargeable batteries....

Good Value in Small Package
I got this camera with an Amazon.com Gift Certificate.This is a great starter camera.Easy to use. Easy to download pictures.The software that comes with it makes all pictures look clear and focused.Uses 4-AAA batteries, that you will be buying a lot of.Overall, a great buy for any digital camera looker.If you are looking for a nice camera, at a low price, look no further....

Bad warranty
Check the warranty on this camera. Argus demands $$$$ be included when you return a defective camera in the fine print under the warranty. When you go to return a defective camera they increase the return to $$$. Not a good way to run a company. I would never buy an Argus product again....

Argus 3550 ...Excellent Buy
I picked up an Argus 3550, which is the zoom version of the 2 megapixel camera, ....It was on sale ... I figured at this price I'd surely be dissapointed as the quality surely was not any good.But was I wrong.I've owned several digital cameras including the two Olympus, two Cannon's one Nikon and my current Canon D-60.This camera really surprised me, especially for the value and surprising reasonable picture quality.Battery life with 4-AA rechargeable Ni-mh batteries has been as good as my Nikon...
