Skeptical At First...It's really not bad at all

At first glance, this reminded me of the "Ronco Record Ruiner" from the late 70's: pop your disc in and the spinning motion cleans using a felt pad attached inside.The big difference here is that the Clean Dr really cleans your CD.Motorized wheels inside spin the disc for about 30 seconds (the rubber wheels never touch the playing surface - only the edges) then the unit ejects the disc on its own.The spray cleaner included doesn't leave any streaks but be careful to pump the bottle only once or...

A FINE PRODUCT...

I know there is another review on this product that is negative. However I think perhaps the person that wrote it may have missed the tab on the bottom that allows the full cycle. I use this constantly as a seller on amazon I always clean my discs before shipping and this item does the job. It comes with batteries, and I have used it on 100+ discs. When the batteries go dead, i replace the unit. It cleans fingerprints and is also very good with region 0 discs which seem to pick up fingerprints easier...

you may want to keep looking

I was looking for a new cd cleaner to replace the awesome Maxell manual cleaner that finally broke after years of use.The "Clean Dr." was economically priced and I liked the fact that it was motorized.Only one problem though, it just doesn't work.I've used it at least 50 times since I bought it and it doesn't appear to have clean a single fingerprint off of any cd.I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone....
