Product Description
The Advent AW810 900 MHz Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Speaker lets you enjoy to your favorite music virtually anywhere in your home and yard. The 900 MHz wireless signal technology travels with ease through walls, floors, ceilings and other obstacles, delivering high-quality stereo sound up to 300 feet. Just hook up the transmitter to your main stereo and set up the wireless speaker wherever you want to listen to your CDs, MP3s, tapes or records. The system features dual power options that allow you to plug in the speaker with the included AC adapter or install 8 C cell batteries for maximum placement flexibility.
The two-way speaker features a waterproof 5" woofer and 1" dome tweeter for extended high frequencies and rich bass sound. The speaker is compatible with most audio sources, including TVs, stereo receivers/amps, boom boxes, CD/DVD players, cassette players and more.

Not a good product...
Unfortunately this item didn't work at all straight out of the box.Spoke with tech rep from manufacturer and trouble shot the speaker system to no avail.Luckily for me Advent happily accepted the return and upgraded me to the Acoustic Research Speaker, model AW-811 which works wonderfully!...

We are enjoying this speaker!
I bought this speaker about a month ago to use near our hot tub. So far, we have used it daily (on batteries) and it has been working perfectly. The sound is a little "tinny" at low volumes but it sounds surprisingly good at higher volumes. We even bring it out to the swing-set while watching the kids play. It's also great for game night. I use this primarily on my computer and listen to internet radio so this allows me to listen to my internet radio stations anywhere in the house or yard. I'm giving...

this product did not work and was missing jacks needed to operate that you said were included. Very dissappointed. Plus, you won't let me return it now....

Great Value, Easy to Install
The installation was so easy - just plug the transmitter in, add batteries to the speaker, turn the speaker on and you are good to go. The sound quality is fine and two speakers will work from just one transmitter or independently from each transmitter. A great value for the money....

Advent wireless speaker
I returned the product and received credit on my credit card. Product was incompatible with my system. I've had the same type of wireless speakers, with the same kind of controls, connected to the same system previously, but I could not get the Advent to work at all....
