Mission m34i 2-Way Floorstanding Tower Speakers, Pair (Graphite Black)

The stylish m34i floorstanding loudspeakers, each of which features a 1-inch Viotex fabric dome treble unit flanked by twin 6.5-inch DiaDrive woofers, reproduce warm, full-bodied audio that makes both music and movies come alive. The DiaDrive units combine the best attributes of soft fiber and high-rigidity cones in a single multilayer diaphragm. The resulting deep bass extension--made more dramatic by the dual woofers in each speaker--is impressively dynamic, especially when the woofers' ultra-high efficiency and extensive power handling are married to the high bandwidth of the Viotex tweeters. To ensure superior audio dispersion, the drivers are bolted to a high-rigidity baffle formed from 1.18-inch MDF and then mounted within a strongly braced cabinet. At the base of the cabinet sits a separate compartment for sand (if desired), which can enhance stability and bass transient performance.

The speakers' i-series crossover, meanwhile, takes into account the baffle diffraction effect to give a more open and detailed midrange performance, with superior integration between the drive units for smoother treble output. The crossovers are also wired with Mission's special HP-OFC (high-purity oxygen-free copper) cable, which features dedicated bass and treble formulations to further enhance the audio clarity.
