I got two of these receivers when I switced from cable to DirecTV Dec 3, 2004. So far I have not had any problems with either and now at 13 months later we are planning on expanding our system so I want to get two more along with a 2nd Tivo receiver....

this is the worst receiver ever!!!!!!!

I have two of these receivers and I hate them. One of them died in one year, and I bought an rca receiver and it is much better. I will never buy something from hughes electronics ever again....
