Product Description
Fill the room with rich, full-bodied audio from your MP3 player, portable CD player, or laptop by connecting to this pair of powered two-way multimedia speakers. Each speaker features a built-in 35-watt amplifier, along with 5-inch polypropylene woofers and 1-inch fluid-filled polycarbonate tweeters. The speakers are also magnetically shielded, so they won't interfere with video broadcasts on the TV or PC. Users will appreciate the individual bass and treble controls, which ensure listening flexibility, while the auto on/off power operation lets you leave the speakers untended without consequence. In addition, the speakers mount in a variety of configurations, such as on a bookshelf, atop a desk, or on a wall.
The speakers work on either AC power or DC battery operation, so listeners can take them along to a BBQ tailgater or picnic. Safety is ensured through the aluminum alloy cabinets designed to dissipate heat from the amplifiers. Each speaker measures 6.5 by 10.5 by 7.6 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9.92 pounds.

Best sounding computer speakers!
I hooked these puppies up to my computer and they rock.I have a serious audiophile stereo system and these sound nearly as good at one tenth the cost.Good bass and treble controls, sound is great even played softly, and really kick turned up loud.The only thing I am going to change is get longer wires so I can get better separation.Use them with anything that has a headphone jack for great sound....

Simply the best.
Use them in combination with an AirPort Express Base Station and you can kiss all the wireless speakers on the market good bye. Tons of power and great sound quality....

Excellent Little Speakers
These self powered little speakers are fantastic. Great for plugging in your ipod, or anywhere you want clean, clear, natural sound. You will not be disappointed! I can't recommend them strongly enough. I DJ and am very picky about my sound quality. These speakers replaced my Bose Acoustic Wave radio. Two Words: Super Awesome!...

2 Pair 15 years old and still sound perfect! 5+ Stars
I bought 2 sets of these in 1991 and still use both pair everyday.The base is very low and clean. The highs are crisp and clear. It sounds as if there is a sub-woofer. They are heavy but very durable. I have traveled with them to Europe and around the U.S. One pair I use with an old IBM ThinkPad as a kitchen kiosk to play yahoo radio. I can blast them and hear them great out on the deck. I have used them often and play my music loud. (korn, filter, rap, rock, classical) They still sound perfect...

Great, Reliable Speakers
I bought a pair of these speakers nearly 10 years ago. They're still going strong! The best set of computer speakers I've owned by far. I've recently begun looking at speakers again fearing that I'll never find a pair like this again (and these can't last forever can they?), and low and behold they're still around! I'm seriously considering buying another pair if and when the first set eventually gives out....
