defective

received without a power supply or car adaptor,therefor the dvd player is completely unusable.no idea if it even works....

Great deal!

I bought this because there was a considerable discount included, but I really feel like I got more than my money's worth.Works great, right from the start.No problems or hitches at all.The picture is good, the sound is ok too, and I like that I can connect it to a TV to use as my regular DVD player.I haven't had any issues with it and I love that I can take it with me.Oh, and the battery charges very quickly too!It's great!...

I love this dvd player

I bought this DVD player when I arrived in the USA from the UK for my 3 mth long summer work experience at the start of the summer. And Yes it still works.I never heard of ASTAR but to be perfectly honest I was not bothered by the make more on the price.I recently decided to try my region 2 and guess what IT worked yippeee.Overall The sound is a little weak and even though it has a wide screen16:9 movies still produce black bars at the top and bottombut apart from that ITS FANSTASTIC for the price...

Awesome

So far I'm really happy with the performance of this product. I've never heard of the Astar before but while doing my online search for an affordable Portable DVD Player I came across them...the price was fitting for my budget and not only that---the product description was pretty good. So eventhough I felt a little unsure of what I was doing due to the unfamiliarity of the company's name...I still went ahead with my purchase. And guess what?I'm very pleased with my decision up to this point......

Sound could be better, but works great otherwise!

I bought this as a gift for a friend and we watched a movie on it that day.The sound was a little weak, but if you are in a quite room it works fine.All in all I liked it and consider it well worth the money.I'm thinking of buying myself one now....
