Product Description

Ushering in a whole new era of out-loud audio for iPod, the inMotion iM7 delivers full-bodied sound that rivals traditional home stereo systems. Its sleek, compact design goes where you go. Mobility is encouraged via the iM7's long lasting battery mode. Or plug into a nearby outlet for AC power. The iPod recharges while you listen. Happy with this product

The sound quality has been very good and it is powerful enough to rock the whole house. I don't think the boose is worth the extra money. I have been very happy with this product. You have to be careful when closing the door and some reviewers have had problems with that....

Frank S.

Good set of features.Sound has some some base and power, and is less "scary" then from Bose speakers. Bose is loud but has no depth and is lacking base. If you insist on having Bose brand better get Bose Room Mates.Unfortunately, the iPod Nano 8GB latest model cannot be fit with the supplied adjustable plastic holder for iM7.Altel Lansing sent another FREE ($3 shipping) plastic holder, but it is the same BAD one as the original supplied with the iM7 that does not fit.The holder forces iPod shift...

Great sounding system except for one defect

1st unit I received had a defective "+" up volume button on the main unit. Only worked when pressed hard or sometimes didn't work at all. The remote worked good. Luckly since Amazon has a hassle free replacement procedure, I received the replacement in a couple days after reporting the defect. The replacement unit has been working perfectly....

A bit heavy but a BIG, FULL sound at a great price!

Even without the optional 8 D-cell batteries the iM7 could probably serve as an anchor for a modest-sized sailboat. But if, like me, your main concern is SOUND QUALITY, look no further because this is your baby.I had heard a friend's Bose SoundDock and liked it, but at roughly half the price the iM7 was a no-brainer.The deep, tight bass and rich, non-distorting sound easily fills any room, and even outside by the pool the iM7 has more than enough oomph to satisfy the most discriminating listener...

Very useful iPod companion...

...AND you can use it for other devices, such as a non-iPod mp3 player, CD player, etc.The sound is awesome, and it was less than half of what the (never-on-sale) Bose unit sells for (which doesn't have an AUX input...)One thing to keep in mind:the door docking area will likely require that you remove any skin or protector from your iPod, in order to fit.One way around that, if you don't like to remove the skin, is to use the AUX input from the iPod headphone jack.Only downside is that you are now...
